Help - Wembley parking / Major Roadworks

On the Brent council website and Wembley parking website it says there are current major roadworks near to Wembley stadium.

We are booked to attend an event there and usually go to Pink car park. Does anyone know how badly the major roadworks will affect us accessing this car park?

If it's really bad or not accessible, please can you suggest some alternative options that may suit. Either walking up to 20 minutes or maybe parking at another station and train in?

Event will finish about 10:30pm

If driving we are coming from Bristol direction of M4.

In the past when we have gone to Wembley for football match, we used the Just Park app to find a parking space and parked in a driveway about 10minutes walk from the stadium. This helped us get out quicker as we didn't get stuck in the traffic congestion.

I believe the roadworks are near Wembley high street, so you will need to park more going towards Wembley Park direction. If you use the app, you might be able to contact the owner of the parking space to ask them if there are any road closures near them that will stop you accessing their nearby roads on the event day. Allow plenty of extra time too as it gets very congested near the stadium.

I believe there are cameras in place where the road closures are to fine people if they enter restricted areas so take extra care

I suppose you can still access the pink car park but would potentially have to follow a diversion to get there?

This may sound stupid but a lot will depend on whether it’s an event day as there are increased parking restrictions then. Event days are generally for the stadium so if you’re going to something at the arena and it’s not an event day (check on the Wembley or Brent Council websites) then on street parking could be an option.
