Relocating from Cheshire to London-tips needed!

Hi all, we’re making a big move from Cheshire to London (Putney) and I’m looking for tips. I’ve lived in Shropshire for my whole life and relocating due to my husband’s work. We have two children primary school age and I am in the process of looking at schools. It’s all very exciting but I’m feeling daunted about the whole thing. I have a big group of friends where we live at the moment (many who I have known since school) and I don’t know where to begin at meeting new people and making new friends. Looking for any advice on where to start. Are there any good groups/events/classes that anyone could recommend? Very much appreciated xx

Are you looking at state primaries in Putney? It's pretty easy to meet people at most of them.

Yes state primary schools. They’ll be joining in year 4 and year 1 so currently trying to work out what our catchment area will be!

I think most primaries in Putney have spaces these days so you'll probably be OK whatever you choose. At least that's the case in West Putney- may be different in other bits!
