I'm planning a trip for DH big birthday in Feb. Plans so far includes a comedy club (Top Secret Comedy Club), a west end show, Sky Garden. What areas would you recommend to stay in?? I have found some reasonable hotels in the City by Tower Bridge (Double tree Hilton / Citizen M) which have lovely views etc but not sure it's ideally located for my plans. Keen to be in the thick of it rather but may consider that area if it's easy enough to nip about on the Tube from there
Unlikely to afford Covent Garden - budget for the 2 nights ideally about £350 or less.. doesn't need to be super fancy but something a bit different / not a Premier inn (usually a fan!) would be nice.
Any recommendations on areas to check out / hotel recommendations? Not overly familiar with London .. booking sites are overwhelming!!
