Outdoor dining?

We would like to arrange a birthday dinner for a couple in their 70s who are reluctant to eat indoors because of Covid. Does anyone know of somewhere a bit special in Central London that would offer a sheltered, possibly heated outdoor dining experience for late October?
TIA

There are some good ideas here:

28 cosy London restaurants and bars with outdoor heated terraces (stylist.co.uk)

Be careful if you go for the ones that have the pods - sometimes they have more than one table, and if you have to share that kind of defeats the whole point.

I like Colbert on Sloane Square and it has outdoors seating, but I don't know if they have space heaters.

Thanks @SquirmOfEels . We booked at Stanley's (near Colbert!). Have you been there?

A lot of them have the outdoor heated seating, but they don't guarantee a table there on the night - obviously not ideal. Bentley's were accommodating, but we liked the menu at Stanley's and it's a better location for us.

That list will also be useful for another night including some younger people on a lower budget. Many thanks for responding.

I haven’t been.

Hope you have a good time there!
