Is the area around Wood Street Walthamstow nice to live in? How is your experience of raising children and being a mom there?
I am a first time buyer looking to start a family soon. I have been looking in Walthamstow for a while and Wood Street stands out as the houses seem bigger there, however unlike Blackhorse road and Walthamstow Central, it doesn’t have the Victoria line.
Is there much to do within the Wood Street area on a lazy day? How is the area for young families? Are there any safety concerns (read some dodgy rumors about Vallentin road)? What is it like to raise children there?
Community is extremely important to me so any insights about the people, local events, and community will also help.
