Hi

We live in balham but I'm ready for somewhere a bit more suburban. Love kingston/surbiton and am looking for advice from anyone who has made the move there with primary age kids or for secondary. Did the move work out for you? And how did you manage the move with schools? We're open to private and have a 9 year old boy and 6 year old girl. Thank you!

Hi @todayortomorrow , have you made any inroads with your search? I am thinking the exact same as you, and don't live a million miles from your neck of the woods currently. My concerns are the same as yours, re moving school aged children. I lived near Kingston as a student so wouldn't be worried about moving 'back' generally but I have no idea how to navigate it with children.

@allaboutmoving Hi, i think we have decided to stay put and try to get them into Graveney (state). I did a spreadsheet of the private school costs and it terrified me and then we decided as our kids are so happy at their primary it's not worth moving them for another state. So tutoring and hoping for Graveney is the (definitely not foolproof) strategy atm.
