V&A- where’s good for lunch or afternoon tea nearby?

A friend is kindly rushing me to the Chanel exhibition at the V&A before it closes.

I’d like to take her for lunch or tea afterwards. Can anyone recommend somewhere walkable from the museum?

Ognisko is an amazing, authentic polish restaurant just round the corner. Gorgeous!

V&A's own restaurant is fab, especially if you sit in the tiled room. But it will be very busy at lunchtime and I don't know what time it closes.

I love Colbert in Sloane Square. It's a little piece of Paris in London.

Please remember to book, it's as perfect as the treasures you will see at the V&A

Thank you! I’ve given up on the museum’s restaurant because of the queues, and she says the Members’ Room is the same , so we’re looking outside. These all sound good!

If you're walking from South Kensington tube there are a few places. There's a Tapas Brindisa, a Thai Square, a pancake house, an Honest Burgers and a Comptoir Libanais all on the way along Exhibition Road.
