Hi everyone, I am planning whitening my teeth and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a reputable dentist with good results. I am keen to do the same day treatment rather than the at home kits. I have heard you can experience sensitivity and pain? any thoughts and recommendations, thanks

Research shows same day treatment looks white at first but relapses quickly because it is mostly just dehydrating the tooth.

The best results are using at home kits , particularly if you have sensitive teeth as you can adjust the strength of the whitening solution used and use desensitising solutions in the trays as well.

Hi Maggie, I’ve recently began whitening my teeth at home by using the Philips Teeth Whitening Gel which I’ve had really great results from - I began noticing a difference after second use. I’ve attached a link of the one I buy, it’s the exact one the dentists use however, a fraction of the price!

It is utterly illegal. It is illegal for general public to buy teeth whitening gels above 0.1% in the U.K. and Europe and this high concentration is illegal for dentists in the U.K. and Europe to buy or use on patients.

That is if this is not a counterfeit product because the sellers will be well aware they are selling an illegal product.

Are you happy to put something inside your body that is illegal and sold by sellers who knowingly are breaking the law? How confident would you be that it was not a counterfeit?
