Ealing and planes

Hello,

I'm interested to know if Ealing has low flying noisy planes given proximity to Heathrow. I went to Kew Gardens once and was completely shocked at the frequency, noise and just how low they were flying. It was like that in the morning but not the afternoon so felt planned. I live in London and am used to planes up above all the time but not keen on them when you can feel them and they kind of force you to look at them (even though you know exactly what it is!) because they are so low and noisy.

Thanks in advance for any intel

For info If Heathrow is landing towards the west there’s a runway change at 1500 local to shift the approaches laterally by about a mile north or south depending on which way the switch works for the week.

There’s also a weekly change in the early and late landing runways so one side doesn’t get the morning noise every week.

They start at 7am till 11pm take off from Heathrow over Hanwell towards Ealing Common. Westerly operations.

We moved because of it 😬 but lived directly under the take off path.

They land over Kew /Richmond.

Meant to say take over over Ealing is called easterly operations

Look up on LHR website and it shows you a map of the frequency of flights and take off over Ealing.
