Wren academy Finchley

Hi, I am looking into secondary schools in my local area. I have read all threads possible on my local secondary schools. But I haven't seen much about Wren Academy in Finchley. Anyone have children that go there? Are they happy? My major concerns are bullying? and I have heard it is very strict, which may not create a nice enviroment for the kids. I really don't much about the area either as I currently live in Muswell Hill. Any insight would be fantastic. I am booked to see it and a few others soon.

It’s a great school. Kids are lovely, parents generally very supportive, behaviour policy clear and well maintained (but it’s certainly
not the strict prison regime that some myths would have you believe), good results. I am not aware of any bullying in all my time as a parent (which is not to say it’s not occurring) but believe it would be dealt with swiftly. All of my children have said it’s not a typical school (not that they can compare from experience) because the children are all generally very well-behaved. I’d recommend without reservation. My DS/DD have been really happy there.

It was ok. It didn’t blow me away, it was quiet and did seem quite strict to me.
