Hi lovely Mumsnet community,
Hope you're all doing well! We're a young family currently based in South Wimbledon and looking to make a move slightly outside the city to get more bang for our buck in terms of space. Our dream is to find a 3/4 bedroom house to rent, and a detached one would be a massive bonus (just in case we fall in love with the area and decide to buy). Both my hubby and I work a few days a week in central London.
We've got two little ones, a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old, so finding a family-friendly area with great primary schools is super important to us. Safety is a top priority, of course, and having an easy commute is key. We're also on the lookout for places where there are activities for kids and a strong sense of community.
Our shortlist is currently centered around Purley, Coulsdon, and Epsom. If any of you lovely folks live in these areas, we'd be absolutely thrilled to hear your thoughts on what life is like there. Any insights, opinions, or even alternative suggestions would be golden!
