About areas in Wartford

Hi Everyone,
Can anyone please give some insights about these 2 places Garsto and Leaevsden in Wartford? like what kind of areas are they from a living perspective/locality/ safety/ Schools.

Both are fine. No issues with safety particularly.

I always find the traffic in Garston a bit of a nightmare, but the streets themselves are quiet enough. Most people I know who live there are settled and happy with it.

Leavesden has a lot of newer houses, and I think is generally less busy.

Schools - are you looking at primary or secondary?

Leavesden is OK, I don't like Garston. Have you looked at Abbotts Langley?

Neither are ideal for secondary unless you do well in the 11 plus

For schools, I need information on both(Primary/Secondary) . I am planning for the long run so it will be good to have information.

I think you'd be best concentrating on secondary catchments. Problem with Watford is the better schools are part of a consortium with an entrance exam. They are part selective, taking some on the test result and some on distance to the school.

The closest decent secondary for both is Parmiters, but it's catchment is tight and you would definitely be better living in Abbots Langley.
