Imperial War Museum

I'm meeting a group of friends at the IWM over Easter. There will be 5 adults and around 7-8 children age 3- 12. Can anyone recommend a great place for late lunch/early tea near by? Not 💷💷💷 but not bargain basement either. Child friendly as a starting point. TIA

The cafe inside the museum is pretty good (at least it was last time I was there)

Otherwise head for Lower Marsh (a street just to the south of Waterloo) which has oodles of places to choose from.

The cafe is nice - otherwise there is an Italian cafe on Kennington Road as you had up towards Lambeth North Tube. There's also a Mercato street food centre by Elephant and Castle which is not far. Otherwise there are some of the main family freindly chains on the Thames by the South Bank Centre (which also has a number of street food vans)) and a lovely pizza restaurant at St Gabriel's Wharf.
