Is the British Museum open next week?

Please can anyone tell me. The website says that industrial action will affect the museum and on the website you can't book tickets for next week. However, there is an event being advertised.

Can anyone confirm whether it will be open, please? The phone line is not open until Monday (if then!). We'd be travelling for a couple of hours to get there so don't want to risk it being closed, but really want to go with the kids.

Hi, the museum won't know for sure until strike day but the last one on 1 February the museum closed completely. Let me find the Twitter thread for you

Basically they might have to shut at short notice so entry between 13-19 Feb is only for members or those with already pre-booked tickets. All half term events and some other events cancelled.
