London NYE Fireworks

They are going ahead this year for the first time in two years . I’ve never been . I’m more of a stay at home in my pjs type person on NYE. My parents, who are flying long haul to be in London for Christmas, want to go. Im not gonna lie, it kinda made me excited to do something on NYE for the first time in my life 🙈!

So my question is how hard is it to get tickets . They go on sale this Friday at noon. My husband seems to think even if I purchase at noon on the dot I might not get tickets. What was your experience ? Also are their certain viewing platforms ( such a blue ) that sell out quickest ?

Lastly , what is the toilet situation like ? Haha!

The first tranche of tickets has sold out, but there will be a second release

I expect there will be portaloos somewhere, but I'd also guess there won't be enough and if you've got a good spot you might not want to leave it to go and queue

Finally someone replied lol

I posted this before the tickets had gone on sale and since then I’ve booked tickets :)! We are in the green zone behind the London eye ! I’m a bit worried about the toilet situation 🫢
