Anyone can give me an advise of buying a viola from Stringers

I want to buy a viola for my friend who is not a beginner. I want to know anyone bought a soloist violin/viola from Stringers before? Are they good? Of course the instruments have various ranges and the price for the soloist one is £1,000. Not sure whether it has a big difference with their £800 one. How is the quality of their viola/violin? Would be appreciated if anyone who has an experience with Stringers can give me some suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I teach violin and play professionally and Stringers is excellent. The staff there are really knowledgeable and the instruments are good quality. I recently bought a really good quality bow from them and they serviced my old bow for me as well. The best thing to do is give them a call or go visit their store: they will be able to advise you on the best instrument to suit the player and your budget.
