Recommendations for a London afternoon

I have two uni friends staying with me this weekend. I live in London and we are all 50 years old. Looking for stuff to do or suggestions. We want to be able to chat etc so not looking for theatre / museums.....partial to a drink but dont want to just have a boozy lunch. thinking of good markets, etc we could go to but all ideas welcome!

I would go up the shard actually. And then have a wander round Borough Market.

Or I would get a boat down the river and go to Greenwich. The park is lovely in autumn and the market is good. I'd get one of the cheesy tourist boats you can sit outside on as well.

Yes the boat is SUCH fun for Londoners and non Londoners alike.

Also Boro Mkt - although I haven't ever been at a weekend so don't know if it's rammed.

If you want a long chat take a boat from Putney to Hampton Court Palace, grab lunch in the Mute Swan pub opposite the palace and then afterwards either enjoy a few cocktails at Mezzet Dar across the bridge or hop on the train back to Waterloo.
