Where’s best/safest place to rent a flat near Osterley as have new job at sky? Never lived in London before so don’t know area.

There are nice parts of Ealing. Kew is nice and some parts of Brentford too. Isleworth could be good for you too.
Depends on your budget and what you want/lifestyle.

Thanks. I will need access to tube or train for work and also shops as won’t have my own transport.

Hanwell is nice

Now looking at accommodation in Hounslow and Ealing any areas to avoid please or advice on nicer locations. My search was put on hold due to the pandemic

What's your budget like?

I'd for for Chiswick or Ealing (look at areas along Piccadilly line, also District line). Turnham Green (which is on both lines) is lovely
