A perfect (play) day for me would involve morning at the V&A, lunchtime concert or sandwich lunch outside at the Serpentine or Chelsea Physic Garden, afternoon at Dover St Market, home/hotel for rest, trying on new clothes, food/drink, getting changed, theatre/opera, v late dinner.

Why not try bottomless brunch. There's loads of places - Quaglino's is brilliant.

You could do that at around 11.30 followed by a matinee perhaps?
