Hi lovely London experts!
I’m in Dublin and we are flying to stay with family tomorrow in a village near Amersham. We are going to legoland on Friday and Saturday and then the natural history museum Sunday, flying home Sunday evening. We are collecting a hire car at gatwick tomorrow and will be returning it to gatwick airport at 5pm Sunday. My question is, is it daft to drive to the museum from near amersham Sunday morning, leaving bout 10 am, and then trying to drive to gatwick airport for 5pm Sunday? Would traffic be busy/ is it better to park somewhere north London and get the train into London? I’m thinking traffic will be quiet, and it would be faster than changing trains etc etc? Any help appreciated! If it is a suitable way of getting in and out of town, where might we park at the natural history museum please? Thanks a million guys x

Train definitely. Traffic and parking is unpredictable in CL.

Maybe drive to Wembley. Park somewhere there. Train to South Kensington(journey could be a little over an hour I think ). Wembley to Luton is around 45 minuets.
These are rough estimates btw. Please double check.

Train is preferable. I always go to London on the train. Check train timetables carefully. Southwest trains are a good source of information. Google the website for more information.
