We've narrowed our house search down to two houses but I know pretty much nothing about London so would love some info on the areas they're in.

They're both gorgeous houses and within a sensible travelling time for dh and for the schools we're looking at for the lo.

One is in Ealing in, I think, Hanger Hill but it looks like it's on the border between Hanger Hill and Ealing Broadway.

The one in Kingston is in Coombe Estate

My gut feel if all else is equal would be to live near Coombe Hill rather than Ealing Broadway. I am not an expert though. From my travels that part of Kingston always feels much more relaxed and safe. However, I don't know the exact houses or areas so please take advice from those who know better.

I live in Kingston and have lived close to Ealing previously. I would say Kingston over ealing, better transport links, Richmond park is on your doorstep, town centre is pedestrianised and better shops!

Kingston is lovely from my experience. Friend lived there until recently due to work and really loved it too, they're mid 20's.

We lived in Kingston for many years. It really does have everything going for it.

Although schools can be nightmarish to get into as far as I understand. We left when dc were toddlers partly for that reason.

The Coombe Estate is mega posh and exclusive, you must have a pretty big budget. It is very close to entrance to Richmond Park which is gorgeous and vast
