Is it usual to offer more than the list price in order to get a rental property? DS and two mates paid agency fees for a property but then didn't get it. Can you pay a damage deposit at the same time as the fee to have a better chance of actually getting the property?
Do any of you fabulous Londoners have any advice re estate agents to avoid or use. Is gumtree safe to use? Any advice very gratefully received.
