Have you volunteered as a family in London?

Hello all,
I would like to do some volunteering where I could involve my daughter but cannot find anything online.
I’ve been referred to the National Trust, but when I go to their site, all the opportunities are for adults.
Is anyone here aware of any websites where I could go?
Thanks!

What kind of volunteering do you want to do? There's always parkrun and junior parkrun.

How old is your DD?

The scouting and guiding movements will often take volunteers of any age - especially older teens with their younger age groups.

Parkrun is fantastic and takes all ages

You could try enquiring of care homes for visitor schemes, ditto via charities which offer support for older or vulnerable people

Guiding takes girls of 14+, or 10+ if they also attend a Guide meeting regularly.
Our local animal shelter allows children to walk dogs/pet cats with their parents (but they have a long waiting list)

She is 7.
I was thinking about something along the lines of helping clean up a park or I remember when I was working we once went and painted a house.
Maybe she’s too young and there would be health and safety issues...
I’ll keep looking, maybe when the weather is warmer there will be more opportunities for outdoor stuff.
Thanks

I think she would be too young for that kind of thing. Sorry!
