Can anyone recommend a cool special-occasion hotel for under £300?

Celebrating 10 years anniversary with DH. We want to feel cool and young again (for one evening) so looking for a hotel that is a bit quirky or boutiquey, with a good bar. Somewhere central ish. Don't want to spend more than £300 a night.

There are sooo many hotels in London I just don't know where to start!

Please help if you can!

Does it have to be central London? If not then 100% the Crazy Bear. We went to the one in Beaconsfield. They have a place in Fitzrovia but it doesn’t have bedrooms.

I really love the St Pancras Renaissance hotel. It is one of my happy places. Lovely little underground spa guests can use too.

Zetter townhouse in Clerkenwell is very cool

The Mondrian at sea containers is fantastic and has an award winning cocktail bar! Plus the location on the south bank is amazing.

Ham Yard Hotel is amazing

Zetter is very cool
Didn't think much of the Mondrian. The public spaces are good, great location, weird menu in the restaurant and average rooms
Look at Firman(?) hotels, the group that includes Charlotte Street Hotel.
