We left London about 2 years ago to live overseas, but for various reasons we are looking to move back in the new year. We can't afford to buy a house our old neighbourhood (Lewisham) but would like to return to south London. We are considering South Norwood and Lee because property seems a bit more affordable. My son will be going into year 8 and my daughter is in year 6, so schools are a big consideration. I would really appreciate any thoughts from people who are familiar with the SE12 or SE25 areas.
