Just that really. Both boys are fairly adventurous but would like recommendations of somewhere to get a reasonably quick lunch. Thanks

Wahaca - Mexican style food, quick service and lots of choice - great for kids

ShoutyMcShouty · 08/08/2017 19:31

Second on wahaca

Depends what kind of food you want to eat. Planet Hollywood is right near there or if you go a bit further up to Covent Garden there's a Shake Shack or Jamie Oliver's diner is just off Piccadilly Circus.

China town. Great fun.

Byron on Haymarket
Agree with Wahaca
There are all the chain restaurants around there so you'll be spoiled for choice.

The Vietnamese on the south end of Wardour St or Cafe CK on the little alley between Wardour and Rupert St are both good. Busaba on Wardour St is good if you want Thai.

Japan Centre if you want quick. Or there's a good ramen place near there too shoryu I think.

Brasserie Zedel? Amazing Art Deco dining hall. Think they have a kids menu.

Gerrard Corner Chinese restaurant. Big, friendly, inexpensive. Nice to families. Corner of Gerrard St, just off Shaftesbury Avenue.

Davros · 10/08/2017 09:52

Agree - Zedel or Wahaca

Bubba Gump Shrimp co is brilliant

Kingly Court off Carnaby Street has lots of good food places

Wiifitmama · 10/08/2017 19:31

Not sure which day you are going, but if it is a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, I recommend this street food market www.streetfoodunion.com Excellent selection, there is some bench seating and will be quicker than a restaurant. My boys LOVED the yorkshire burritos last time we were there - such a clever idea! It is just a few minutes walk from Piccadily Circus

I had one of the worst meals of my life in that Rainforest Cafe.... second place goes to the nearby Jamie's Diner which was also depressingly awful. Wahaca is much more interesting.

froomeonthebroom · 13/08/2017 10:38

Went to Wahaca in the end. Really enjoyed It, good value too. Thanks for the tip.
