Comedy Clubs in London

Any recommendations for the best comedy night?

Heading down this weekend with DH. We will be staying in London overnight on Saturday, and nearby on Sunday and Monday nights. Would prefer Saturday for convenience.

I have looked at a couple but I have no idea which would be the best night out. Not bothered about the meal and drink packages.

Which are the ones you are thinking of?

I looked at the London Comedy Club - show is at Ambassador, Bloomsbury
and the 99 club - The strand

I've not been to either.

But just to make decisions harder, here's TIme Out's top 20 (from March this year).

99 Club gets good reviews.

I'm always thinking of going to comedy clubs but with 24 year old DD some, in pubs, are not available. I've been keeping a list though, mostly central north London. Also look at Kings Place in Kings X:
