Teddington or Twickenham for primary schools

We absolutely loved Teddington and Twickenham is nice too. I wanted to know your views on living and raising children in both areas. Which one do you prefer ? Cons pros . I know that latter has better links to the city as we both will be commuting but we dont want to make the decision on that basis.

what are best state and private primary school options? how is the community ?

We are in Hampton, use schools in Sunbury (as didn't get a Twickenham Catholic primary for DS) and secondary in Twickenham
