Rocksteady online live or not?

Hi All, I have just been sitting in on our first online lesson with the Rocksteady people and it doesn't seem to be live. Does anyone know if this is live, because there is no way for the kids to interact with the teacher and so it feels very pre-recorded.
It's very expensive, and if there is no interaction or ability to see the people who are in your "band" from school, then really it seems no better than a youtube video.

I cancelled our Rocksteady subscription- I felt that continuing to charge full price for online lessons when my child doesn’t have the instrument he’s learning was pointless. I would have considered staying if they had offered a reduction but it was presented as a done deal that you continue to pay full price in return for online lessons, which annoyed me!

I have paused the subscription which you can do without losing your child's place. But to be honest I think it's over priced in the first place, and grossly over priced for what is essentially a youtube video during lockdown!

Yes definitely! Watching the Christmas performance recording really made me wonder how much learning they are actually doing! (Bad mother!)
I decided to cancel as DS is in Y6 and I felt that once they are finally back at school he needs to be in lessons as much as possible and being taken out isn’t ideal. I’ve told him we will look for an instrument tutor outside of school once things are more normal!
