Private Maths and Science online tutoring

I am worried about my youngest dd (Year 9) and want to make some plans for January.

She is very bright attending a girls grammar school. On the autistic spectrum and totally disengaged with learning after a few weeks of online learning.

School didn't/couldn't provide any online teaching for various reasons, just gave them masses of work to do at home.

I'd like to find a tutor for Maths and Science who can teach my dd remotely.

Does anyone know where I could find someone?

There are quite a few people who are advertising here so I'm sure there's people near you who could supplement with in person as required. Most tutors should offer a free taster lesson to see if they suit your dd

Thank you, if it's remote they don't need to live near me, they could be anywhere. Ideally I'd like a personal recommendation but not sure where to find that.

Local fb pages? You could search there even if you chose not to post

Maybe try an agency - then you can check their qualifications and get references.

This is also a useful resource in addition to local knowledge.

We’ve found some very engaging and enthusiastic young online tutors at mytutor.co.uk - very user friendly system, I gave them a call and they helped me find what I needed. Only had 2 sessions so far but v impressed. The tutors are bright young undergraduates who my DD has found inspiring
