During lockdown I set up a free homeschooling Facebook page to support parents:

My page consists of over 90 videos giving parents ideas and advice. The contributors include: famous authors (Jackie Marchant and Frank Cottrell Boyce, Romesh Ranganathan, Ian Melvin (recently interviews on Lorraine Kelly’s show) and many other equally talented professionals. The videos are proving to be good professional development material for teachers as well as support for parents.
The Department of Education recently sent a letter thanking me and all who contributed to the page.
I am a primary school teacher who is currently not working as I have just had a baby 3 weeks ago. I’ve taught in both Sussex and Buckinghamshire and am a Mastery for Maths Specialist. I have a 20month toddler and am homeschooling my 7year old step son during this pandemic.
