How do you keep your kids safe online?

My DS is 6 and can use Chrome to do a web search and then go find some information.

However he now does this on his own at times on his PC when no one is around.

So do you use any specific software, browser or service to make the net safe for your kids to browse?

we have net nanny installed, and the router filters out any inappropriate search results (you can google the type of router you have- eg sky, and filtering search results to see a tutorial of how to do this) x
