History or geography dvds for 8-year-olds?!

Just wondering whether by any chance anyone knows of dvd series for teaching history and/or geography to children, and which would be suitable for an 8-year-old?! Don’t know whether such things exist!

If not look for National Geographic kids videos on YouTube.

oh, if youtube is fine then this school has made their videos public to all viewers, and have uploaded year 4 geography videos. to find them all, you will have to go to their channel and scroll down

Also try teded on youtube they cover a huge range of topics and they're actually interesting :)
