Such a bummer. He’s reached the end up the year 2 stuff and is wondering into year 3 territory. He can’t do it unless I help him which translates to me doing it for him rendering the learning experience worthless. I was hoping he’d let us go back and redo it to really get him secure on the lessons but of course he won’t, so I need to find a new resource.

What’s everyone else using and enjoying. We’ve got the following;
Maths Factor - he likes it but it doesn’t have the pull of opening the bloody acorns in Mathseeds
White Rose- doesn’t enjoy it but will do it. Have to sign up to premium resources though which is £20 as they’ve stopped the free worksheets

We do the English lesson daily with oak academy, is the maths any good? I think we did a trial with Mathletics and I wasn’t particularly impressed, certainly not enough to buy it.

We’ve used Purple Mash, SumDog and the BBC Bitesize games. All pretty good and my year 2 DD likes them.

Nice. I’ll go take a look at those 👌
