Free computing resources for Home Learning / Computing At Home

Hello everyone

I'm starting a free newsletter for people with kids (primary and secondary) at home during lockdown and will share free computer-themed activities to do, most of which don't involve a printer.

You can get these sent to your email (Google Form) or bookmark this page on our website where I'll put each newsletter teachinglondoncomputing.org/family-newsletter/

More information about the newsletter.

Background: I work at QMUL* on the CS4FN project which produces lots of free computing resources for schools and teachers, created by my boss Prof Paul Curzon. Under normal-er circumstances we publish the CS4FN magazine twice a year and post about 23,000 copies of each issue free to 2,400 subscribing UK schools. We also have lots of (also free) stuff online for teachers to use in classrooms. Our sister project Teaching London Computing^ provides support and Continuing Professional Development for teachers. We also produce a newsletter for teachers too.

During lockdown we're tweaking our schools stuff so that it can be used at home without a printer and I wanted to reach families who might not know about us and who might like some free activities and things to read etc. Sign up, tell your friends :)
