What are you going to do to keep toddlers entertained?

I'm just trying to think of ways to keep DD (nearly 3) entertained during this. What are your recommendations?

Leaving her to play with her toys
Playing in the garden
Out for a walk
Play doh / drawing / crafts
Hide and seek
Baking
CBeebies app
Reading
TV

Any other ideas welcome.

Our second daughter just turned three, we’ve had working from home in some capacity in our house for five years now with three young children. Loads of detail on how we keep it all in balance here - kept it simple for lockdown. Hope it helps!

Oh and one of her favourite activities is the dice games (wiggle like a catapillar on three etc) especially if my husband or I join in!

I have been at home all week. So I created a list of activities to do at home with both kids on my laptop and I printed off a copy. This past two weeks we have done the following:

Nature walks
Art and craft projects
Literacy skill development
Numeracy activities including number work
Water fun
Sand art
Exercise workout sessions
Bible study group
Cookery
Writing
Movie nights
Family game nights
Singing
Acting
Dancing
Relaxation, sleeping etc

My two year old loves it when I put all the kitchen chairs in the living room for her to climb on.

I clean the kitchen floors and she climbs around the room from chair to chair.

Good exercise, good problem solving as she figures out how to get from one to another and confidence building.

I get a clean floor.
