Self isolating with a toddler or young kids? Post here!

Hi everyone! Self isolating here due to toddler fever (it's an ear infection and she now has antibiotics). DH is also coughing. Thought it would be nice to start a thread of activities for fellow self isolaters with toddlers and young children, where we could share activities of ideas you have done with the kids that they enjoyed! We are lucky enough to have a garden, so hopefully going to get some sand and water play on the go soon. We have also watched too much Hey Duggee!

Hiya, we are isolating as much as possible as a precaution, but I'm feeling down today. Am on maternity leave so will be home for months with a 4 year old, 2 year old and tiny baby. Feeling down as my mum has just called to say she and my dad need to self isolate for the 12 weeks; shes frightened and rightly thinks my dad would not survive if he got it. I regularly take the kids to see their nanny so we are all going to be a bit sad not seeing her.

Going a bit stir crazy at the moment as a house with people in it all day gets very messy!

Also we don't have a garden but we do have a small park and field right behind our house on an estate with very few children so it is rarely used and is always empty in the mornings, likely even more so now, so I have to take the calculated risk of taking them there for our sanity!

Don't be ridiculous.
There's no such thing as "too much" Hey Duggee...

Hiya,
Got a two year old DD and we've already had far too much screen time than I'd normally allow. Bubbles have been working a treat, I've never done so much play doh in my life and I really hate the stuff. I'm also debating whether the swings round the corner are ok for us to go (we are taking precautions as DD has suspected asthma) . DH is also WFH so DD is thrilled that daddy is at home now, mummy is now boring 😂.

Day 2 of isolation for us. 2 Yr old got sent home with a temp from nursery Monday and now has a bit of a cough, as do I.
I think every toy has been played with, every book has been read, etc. Cbeebies is my guardian angel in these times

We have no garden either but my dad does who literally lives over the road so if the weathers okay we are going to pop into there when we can.
