So I've decided to keep my children home from school for the forseeable future. They're all secondary school, years 7, 8 and 9. I've bought them a laptop each so they don't have to ration access. I expect school will put a bit of work online but it's not going to fill their day. I've told them all it's home school not lying around on your phone all day, I want them doing a full school day. I'm going to send them to walk the dog in the local woods each day for some exercise. Get them to research a healthy meal to learn to cook each day. I was also thinking I could set them some community work, shopping /checking on the elderly in the village. Actually education, I'm stuck though.
Any advice/links posters could give?
Anyone also want to join me on the struggle?
I know my kids won't embrace this new routine and will whinge and whine about every task set. I'm not optimistic that this will go well!
