We are thinking about moving to Cottenham and like the fact that our ds 7 would be able to walk (with me) to school. He is however at a small (82 pupils ) school in a village location at the moment.

I would like to hear peoples views of the school, adn in particular how they deal with children with additional needs.

Many thanks.

The most recent episode of location location was set there - the couple had a baby so maybe they said somethin g about catchments etc??

you can watch it on 4od.

From what I have heard (and I vaguely know one of the governors) it is a good school.

My two eldest DC's (6 and 8) attend Cottenham primary and so far I am very impressed. Enthusiastic teachers, fantastic involvement with the community, interesting and really inspiring lessons plus an outstanding ofsted report. My children are very happy there and hoping my 3rd DS will attend he too has additional needs and so far I have heard good things.

Just bear in mind that it is a MASSIVE primary school, the second largest in Cambridgeshire. We live in Cottenham - it was our house on Location, Location, Location! - but we are home educating and the size of the school is one of the factors that has convinced us this is right (admittedly a minor factor).
