Relocating to Greenwich/Blackheath - where to live and Hospital recommendations?

We're relocating to Greenwich/Blackheath in about a month and I'll be 7mo pregnant (we also have a 22mo son).

I'd love some recommendations on which areas to look in for a nice house to rent - we're looking for a 3bed with garden - preferably close to some nice state primary schools so we don't have to move again in two years time!

I'd also love some information on hospitals - QEH vs Lewisham, or should I go for Guys? I had an emergency C-section with my first but want to try for a natural birth this time round.

I live in East Greenwich (Maze Hill.Westcombe park) which is very nice. Schools a bit hard though, we are near some very good very popular ones,(eg Halstow) but probably not near enough to get in (had to be 300m away last year). Blackheath park nice and Brooklands school good. Also John Ball in Lewisham borough or Brindish also in lewisham in Lea.

Guy's dont have a maternity unit, it's at St Thomas's. Quite a long way, especially if you did end up needing another section and dh had to travel to see you every day. Lewisham are opening a midwife led unit soon whcih sounds good. I have had 2 deliveries at QEH and it was fine. Can you go and look round?
