Anyone want a lot of books?

We are moving in ten days (hooray-we are renovating the hosue at the moment) and there is nothing like an imminent move to focus the mind on what you actually want to keep! I have several thousand books and need to get rid of about a third, maybe less, maybe more. I cannot physically take them to the charity shop (plus all the ones i have asked do not want so many all at once) and I am disillusioned with Freecycle. So if anyone wants lots of books, mostly classics but a general mix, you are welcome to them, as long as you pick them up sometime next week!

I dont want any money for them but would seriously appreciate donations of chocolate-this move is proving to be more stressful than the last one!

We are on Maldon Road, close to town.

Hi,
do you still have your books? I'd be interested if so and could pick them up sometime this week!

Dingaling - I put any books I don;t want outside the house in a box with 'help yourself signs on the box'

We got rid of loads that the kids had grown out of and that ILs had dumped on us - stuff they had left from doing a jumble sale no less!
