Any suggestions on how to find a nanny in Ealing?

Hi, i'm wondering if anyone can help. My neighbour and I are thinking of sharing a nanny for our kids, who are 10 months and 6 months. We're in Northfields, and ideally we'd like to get someone relatively local. I'd be really interested to hear about how other people have found nannies. Does anyone know of good places to advertise this job? Are there particular cafes etc where nannies tend to hang out? Or does anyone have a nanny/au pair who'd be willing to put the word around that we're on the look out? Or indeed are there any websites people would recommend? Huge thanks in advance, Slightly Nervous first time mum

The best place to find a nanny if you do not want to pay for an agency is to put an ad on www.gumtree.com
