the only people I socialise with is my almost 3 year old DD and hubby, most of my family and friends are far away and abroad so I feel like I am in a cage sometimes. I live near Kings Avenue so we could meet up somewhere local or Clapham/Streatham/ Balham. would love DD to meet some toddlers around her age as well.

Hi, I've just moved to the area from Bristol and would love to make some new firends with some mums. I have a 4 month old little girl who is also very bored of just seeing mummy all day! I'm 30 and live in Clapham South with my husband. If I could meet up with you guys sometime then that would be great.

Hi, I'm in Streatham and ds is 18 mo. If anyone wanted to meet up on a Wednesday or Friday that would be fab.

Anyone got recommendations of places to eat/have coffee where small people can run around a bit?

Hi, I am a very old first time mum (50 - yes really, and before you ask it was an unplanned, perfectly normal pregnancy) with gorgeous mixed-race son now aged 2 years 8 months. I'm not married, but not technically single, and can appear to be for reasons I won't detail here.
We are an unconventional family in more ways than one; middle-class but low income, not at all Nappy-Valley. But there's nothing at all wrong with my kid, who is bright and active and thoroughly sociable.
Sadly for him, at the moment his best friend lives in Dubai. Would anyone black or white with similar-aged child in Oval area care to meet up, usually Wed-Fri? (A real grandmother, perhaps, of around my age?!)

Whoops! Actually I am 51, just had birthday, forgot, as one does at my age!

Hi Nicola,

I'm in Clapham North and happy to meet up one weekend if you like? [email protected]

deedar · 06/04/2010 20:33

Hi Mingg
I live in Clapham north too and have a 2 year old girl who's always interested in new playmates. I'll email you to see if you'd like to meet up sometime.

Mingg · 07/04/2010 11:56

Hi Deedar,

That would be great!

Hi everyone,
I can't seem to find any recent messages for Streatham Common- so I'm adding one.
I have a beautiful one year old boy who must be getting bored with me and wondered if anyone fancies meeting for coffee etc.
