The council are trying to sneak through it's proposals for a one way traffic system around Greenwich (consultation over Christmas). This will have a massive impact on the area as traffic is likely to cut through this area so do make sure you let the council have your feedback (before Jan 15) and copy it to the Greenwich Society. In a nutshell: Option 1 least bad for the area, Option 2 least bad if we have to have one of the option 2s, option 2A a disaster, options 2b and 2c tries to squeeze too much traffic into too few lanes. Any of the options 2 will take all that westbound traffic that usually takes Creek Road and divert it along Greenwich High Road!!!! i.e. through the heart of West Greenwich.
