New to Tonbridge- any other Italian babies nearby??

Hi everyone

We have a 17 month old who's half Italian. We're in process of relocating from Birmingham to Tonbridge. We know no-one in the area- and want to make friends.
I'm especially keen my son keeps up his Italian- are there any other Italian families in the area?

my name is Marina I am Italian and have a 16 months old baby girl Mia who I speak to in Italian. She doesn really say much at the moment I am keen to find a friend so that Mia can speak Italian.

When are you moving?
I moved to the area from London in June 09 and woudl love to meet up. W live in Chiddingstine Hoath 15 minutes from Tonbridge. Most of the week Mia goes to Nursery but Friaday and Saturday we are around.

Hi Kirsten and Marina, we are not an italian family, but have bought a flat in Italy (love it, love it, love it!) so both my husband and i are learning italian (Adult education centre sevenoaks). There are a lot of families in our situation where particularly the mums are learning italian. We would love Benjamin (4 1/2 just started school, so an age gap!) to be around Italians so he can speak to his friends when we go out to Como. We are based in Ightham.
