Hope the birth went well and you and the baby are getting along fine!

I am not exactly a new mother (my children are 11 and 14!), but I was wondering if you would be interested in letting me observe your baby. I am doing a Masters degree at Birkbeck and one of the course requirements is to observe a new baby for an hour a week for the first year of his or her life, to watch its development.

If it is something you might be interested in let me know and I'll give you my phone number (I'm in Hertford which is not too far away).

Anyway, hope you are enjoying being a new mother!

Gosh, I've just realised that I never responded to this! Archie was born the day after I left that last post and i guess i just got a it distracted!

Anyway, I am guessing it might be too late now? Archie is 19 weeks old.

Hi Claire. Just came across your post now. I'm in the same position as you were -newish to area ( been here a few months) looking for other mums to meet up with. My own dd was born in January of this year.
