hairdressers in muswell hill/crouch end

can anyone recommend a good hairdresser in either of these neighbourhoods? i've just moved into the area and there are too many out there to choose from!
note: i am pretty particular about my haircuts, i have to admit-- i want a good place that trains their people well and makes me feel pampered... (especially now w/ LO being the main focus in my life...) is that maybe too much to ask?

I went to Elite Style at the bottom of Muswell Hill for the first time this week. Just the owner who is there at the moment (only been open six months) and she was fantastic.

I go to Organic Hair on Crouch Hill - very laid back and friendly, they also do men's hair so my DH goes there too.

The hairdressers in Crouch End called Avalon is the best salon in North London. I have been to so many over the 20 years I have lived in London and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointment with the guys at Avalon. I see Natalya who is a brilliant colourist and cutter but i've seen all the stylist there and I've never been disappointed.
