Does anyone have experience of the Blackheath Conservatoire fanfare course?

My dd's interested in learning to play something. I saw some information about the fanfare course at Blackheath where they get taster sessions of 6 different instruments.
Has anyone's child been on this course? Is it worth the money?

I'm not sure about that particular course but my friends on has been to lessons there for 4 years and he loves it.
