Hi there - I am looking to meet mums in the kingston/surbiton area. I have a 5 month old baby and would love to meet new people. Are there any mumsnet meet-ups in the area or anyone interested in meeting for coffee?

Hi I live in Kingston. My ds is 4 years old but my neighbours have babies. We can meet for coffee and I'll point you in the right direction. OR we can arrange a Kingston meet -up and see if anyone else joins us.
Off to work now (work three days a week)

cherylmc · 22/05/2009 20:59

hi,
I've just moved to the area. I have 2 children, ds is 3 and dd is 1. I would love to meet some new people. Coffee,park...just some adult conversation would be great :-)

Hi Starbear and cherylmc - thanks for your responses. I think a kingston meet up sounds good and then we can see if anyone else joins us. When would be good for you two?

I'm free on Monday afternoons after 2.30pm and Fridays. I don't mind meeting up on the weekend either. I don't know how to exchange details

cherylmc · 31/05/2009 08:02

Can do mondays after 1pm and wednesday or fridays. I guess we just agree a time and place and I pm you my details and vice versa.

Starbear · 31/05/2009 08:39

cherylmc Hi, Yes but not this week. Car needs to go for MOT on Monday and Friday Ds is going to the dentist near DH's work and I thought we could pop in to see him, not sure when we will be back.
So I'll check the following week and get back to you.

envy27 · 01/06/2009 18:01

Hi both - shall we say monday 15th June at 3:00pm at a coffee place? Is Kingston or Surbiton better for you? I live in Surbiton but can easily come in to Kingston so happy with whatever you both prefer?

hi the 15th is good for me

EyeballshasBackBoobs · 03/06/2009 12:51

I'm in Epsom so not too far, with a 16 month old dd so would love to barge in. I work Mondays so I'll watch this space to see if you all get on and then maybe try and steer you towards Fridays next time!

Starbear · 04/06/2009 08:02

Off to work now. Hope everyone has a nice day. I'll get back later with my diary and we can try to fix a date. All welcome

envy27 · 04/06/2009 22:28

How about wednesday 17th instead? Same sort of time around 3:00pm. Could meet at the river cafe in John Lewis in Kingston? The more the merrier...

Starbear · 04/06/2009 22:33

Monday 15th would be good for me around 3pm.
Sorry can't do 17th.

Starbear · 04/06/2009 22:34

ops! Not Monday okay. Fridays are normally good too but not the 19th. It's okay go ahead without me and I'll catch up another time.

EyeballshasBackBoobs · 04/06/2009 22:39

Leave it as it was, really. I work Mon-Weds so end of the week my only option. I'll sit this one out and hope you don't form a clique in my absence

cherylmc · 06/06/2009 14:22

Envy27 happy to still meet on Mon 15th at the river cafe or we can rearrange or just organise another one in addition to the 15th that is on a friday so the others can also come along

envy27 · 07/06/2009 09:54

Cherylmc - we can meet on Monday 15th June at the John Lewis Cafe. Shall we say 3pm? Everyone else welcome if they can come. If not, we can organise another meet up for later.

Hello, I'm in Epsom too, have a DS aged 16 months... and will try and make it next week to John Lewis cafe if that's ok... be great to meet some more Mums locally!

cherylmc · 08/06/2009 10:14

envy27 · 14/06/2009 21:11

cherylmc · 15/06/2009 12:56

Not sure if you got the last message...but an update, 2 kids,5ft 3ins,brown top and blue jeans. Hope it's enough

surreygirl · 15/06/2009 21:34

Sorry I didn't get there... my DS came down with hand, foot and mouth so stuck at home for a few days... let me know if you meet up again!

AlphaMale · 18/06/2009 10:57

Hi,

My wife and I have just moved to Kingston from Ealing and we do not know many people here yet. We have two gorgeous girls - 3 years and 7 months - hence my nickname (AlphaMale) being outnumbered and the only man in our house. I work full time but my wife is a full time house wife and would love to meet some people in the local area.

envy27 · 21/06/2009 21:52

Hi All,
Lets organise another meet up. Could someone suggest a date and then we can see if it's convenient for all?

OP posts:
cherylmc · 01/07/2009 21:10

hi,
No one suggested a date yet?
Me and envy27 met up a few weeks ago. It was very nice. Maybe we could meet somewhere where any of the older ones could run or play. Don't want to put anyone through my 3 year old, climbing over/under chairs etc (as envy27 had to watch).
I'll start the date suggestion; what about Friday 10th June; anyone free?

surreygirl · 05/07/2009 15:59

I'm up for meeting - few weeks back I had planned to join you but my DS wasn't well...so spent the day trying to calm him down and work out what was wrong...

I'm not about Fri 10th July but most days I am free. Anywhere that my 17mnth old DS can run around and I can get a coffee sounds good to me..
