new bootsale this sunday (3rd may) A47 near LFE / EARL SHILTON

this is a boot sale that started a few weeks ago and is run by someone who used to run croft.

seems very well organised worth a wander to see what bargains can find open from 6.30am til 2pm.

entrance is £1 per car (unless individual person then its 50p)

i went to this last sunday and there were 4 lanes of booters, took us 5 minutes to wander round and that was with 2 3 year olds in tow! we ended up going to the croft.

Thanks we went this morning to do a boot sale started raining en-route and only about 10 cars there at 6.30am so turned round came home , obv sun is now shinning!!

i went a couple of sundays ago and preferred it to croft as it only took about 40mins-1hr to get round and people were nice and quality of stuff was good. for me, i don't have all morning as nippers are left to the mercies of dh (for once) so i am usually on a tight budget and anxious to get back. so it suited me better!
just thought it might help to add another perspective...

Thanks think they are now having to get planning permisson to continue with the boot sale so if anyone wants to support them just write a letter to planning department at blaby district council.

Have to say we havent been again yet but will try to do a boot sale next bank hol weekend on the sunday.
